A chartered accountant has declared his intention to stand in the constituency of Rushen in the upcoming House of Keys General Election.
Michael Crowe is a former president of the Chamber of Commerce, and has spent eight years as chief executive of Finance Isle of Man.
He says a successful, growing economy is key to high quality public services such as healthcare and education.
The other candidates who've declared so far for Rushen are Michelle Haywood, Laurence Vaughan-Williams and Simon Williams.
The election is on 24 September.
