Chair says patients should have someone to talk to
A charity which helps patients recovering from heart disease is looking for volunteers to form a support group.
The Manx Heart Foundation believes assisting those going through rehab would be beneficial.
The group was set up in 2008 to promote health and wellbeing for heart patients and advance the fight against heart disease.
This Sunday is World Health Day and the foundation will have a stand at Tesco on Lake Road in Douglas.
Chair of the charity Karen Chiarello told Christy DeHaven it's important patients aren't alone:
Those interested in volunteering can contact the charity by emailing info@manxheartfoundation.com.
