Chance to learn more about stroke and have your blood pressure tested
A charity is hosting an event for you to find out more about strokes and have your blood pressure tested today (Saturday).
The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann is running its Stroke Awareness Day from 10am to 4pm at Peel sailing and cruising club on Shore Road.
The club has teamed up with healthcare professionals to offer free blood pressure checks and distribute more information on stroke prevention.
Manx Care stroke nurses and representatives from the Stroke Association, Stroke Awareness and volunteers from the rotary club will be in attendance.
