Craig's Heartstrong Foundation and Cardiac Risk in the Young at Noble's Hospital
A Manx charity is hosting a heart screening event at Noble's Hospital this weekend for people aged 14-35 (27-28 September).
Craig's Heartstrong Foundation was originally set up by the Lunt family in memory of their 25 year old son, Craig; a talented young Manx footballer who died in 2005 due to a previously undiagnosed heart defect.
As well as providing defibrillators around the Island, the charity puts on the screening events alongside the UK organisation Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Whilst registration has closed for this weekend's event, a number of walk-in places are available - anyone interested is urged to get in touch with Craig's Heartstrong Foundation.
Another round of screenings is due to take place in April 2026 with bookings set to go live in February.
