Minister has stated updating legislation is a priority
A Manx charity has reiterated its hopes for progress to be made on updating animal welfare laws on Island.
A draft new animal welfare bill was thrown out by Tynwald back in April after complaints it wasn't fit for purpose.
Last month, Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Clare Barber, stated getting new legislation in remains a high priority.
Juana Warburton of the ManxSPCA is welcoming that:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
