The CEO of a local charity says it's 'disheartening' thieves have targeted one of their vehicles.
The van, belonging to Age Isle of Man, was parked on South Quay in Douglas overnight on Thursday last week, when the incident happened.
It had black plastic bump strips removed from both sides, and its grill and bonnet were badly damaged as thieves broke into the engine to take diesel fuel injectors.
Repairs will cost around £1,500 and the charity won't be able to use the van to pick up furniture while it's out of action.
