Buddies and Breast Cancer Now brave the elements
The Douglas Dip will see all money raised from the event go to two local charities this year.
Organised by Breast Cancer Now, the ninth annual dip in the Island's capital will also be supported by Beach Buddies.
The anti-litter charity will be holding a beach clean from half 10 before taking to the sea at midday.
Registration forms will be available at the Pavillion on the Queens promenade, for anyone wishing to take part. You also sign-up online at douglasdip.com
The dip will be followed by complimentary hot drinks and biscuits at the Queen’s Pub.
The popular event has become a traditional way for many people to welcome in the new year.
