Meeting will set out the timetable and process for the examination of the application
The date of a preliminary public meeting regarding the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm has changed.
On Thursday 11 December Tynwald approved an order which allowed the Council of Ministers to alter the original date of the meeting - Monday 19 January 2026.
The meeting, which will set out the timetable and process for the examination of the application, will now be held on Tuesday 3 March 2026.
It's expected that the procedure will be set out and members of the public can make representations to the examining body about how the application for consent should be examined.
The examining body will circulate further details about the meeting in due course.
The letter of formal notice will include the meeting agenda, an initial assessment of the principal issues by the independent examiners, and the process they intend to follow when conducting their examination.
