Winkie Light open day for buyers
Potential buyers of an Isle of Man lighthouse will get the chance to have a look inside today.
The 33 foot Winkie at the Point of Ayre has a sale price of £10,000 and estate agents Black Grace Cowley are hosting an open day at the site at lunchtime.
Bids for the lighthouse will subsequently be accepted by tender and a result announced next week.
Beach cleaning charity Beach Buddies has already launched a campaign to buy and use it as its permanent base.
Its work continues today with volunteers meeting at the Winkie Light at 10.30am.
