President worried tourism and hospitality face 'impossible situation' if funding cut

The president of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce has called today's Budget 'financially prudent' adding that there was 'not much in it' for the Island's business community.

The plans for the upcoming financial year were approved in Tynwald this afternoon (15 February).

Kristan McDonald said the plan was 'unadventurous' and that he would have liked to see more support geared towards helping businesses 'bounce back' out of the pandemic.
