Chamber calls for 'fast, simple and meaningful support'

Treasury Minister suggests some concerns are unfounded 

The chief executive of the Island’s Chamber of Commerce says the government’s current business-support schemes fall short of what companies actually need.

This week, the Chamber has released an open letter highlighting serious concerns about the planned 9.9 percent rise in the minimum wage set for April next year.

The organisation has described the increase as a “national crisis,” warning that it could negatively affect the Island’s economy.
