Count to take place in April
The government will get a better idea of who’s living on the Island later this year, when it holds a census.
The 2016 census will take place on April 24 and will take details from every person on the Isle of Man that night, including the crews of British vessels moored in Manx ports.
But anybody dreaming of being officially counted as a Jedi may be disappointed – religion isn’t one of the questions that’ll be on the census form.
Details that will be required include name, age, occupation, address, gender and length of time spent living here.
