Manx festival starts this afternoon
A week's worth of folk tunes, lectures and community events gets underway today (Monday) at Noa Bakehouse from 1:30pm.
Celtfest kicks off with a traditional music session featuring Bingys yn Chruinnaght, the first of five being held at the Bakehouse this week.
Other events include broadcaster professor Alice Roberts delivering a lecture titled 'The Celts: Blood, Iron and Sacrifice' at Peel Centenary Centre.
There's also a series of concerts being held at the centre starting from Wednesday evening when Hamish Napier presents the River.
