Lifeboat used to take them to Ramsey
A person who'd sustained suspected ankle injuries on Dhoon beach was rescued by Coastguards from Douglas and Ramsey, along with the Ramsey lifeboat, this afternoon.
They were called out just after 2pm.
It was decided the lifeboat would be the safest and best way to transport the casualty, as the distance back to the road was deemed to be too far.
Once on board, they were taken to Ramsey to be checked over.
