It's been bought by Manx BirdLife and Langness Golf Course Ltd
The Castletown Golf Links site has been sold by Dandara.
The former hotel sits within a bird sanctuary on Langness and is surrounded by the Area of Special Scientific Interest.
It's been closed since 2007, and has been left to ruin when plans for regeneration never came to fruition.
In a statement on Facebook, Manx BirdLife says it's secured more than 60 acres of grassland, coastal heath and saltmarsh with the help of Langness Golf Course Ltd and Nature Vannin Ltd.
It will now be managed for nature in perpetuity.
The charity says the Langness Peninsula is one of the Isle of Man's most important areas for breeding, migrating and wintering birds.
It's now excited to make sure the area remains protected and continues to thrive, alongside the neighbouring Castletown Golf Links, which is also managed with nature conservation in mind.
Manx BirdLife says its long-term vision is to make Langness an example of how both nature and people can coexist and benefit from sustainable management.
It's now going to undertake consultations and ecological surveys of the site to create a holistic management plan.
