The local authority claims someone set fire to a bin overnight
Castletown Commissioners says damage to a bin next to a block of toilets is 'dangerous and costly' for residents.
The local authority claims someone has 'attempted' to set fire to it using all the paper from the facilities, during the night.
It says a basic bin can cost several hundreds pounds to replace and the anti-social behaviour in the town is 'incredibly frustrating and disappointing'.
People who have seen any 'unusual activity' are being encouraged to report it to the police or the commissioners.
