Police are investigating after a number of vehicles were damaged in the area of the promenade, Port St Mary.
They were sprayed with black paint some time between 6pm yesterday and 7am today.
Police are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen anyone in the area acting suspiciously or who may have been carrying a tin of spray paint.
Sergeant Gary Heaton says police have arrested and interviewed two boys today in connection with the damage.
They are now on police bail while inquiries continue.
Police still want to hear from witnesses.
Sergeant Heaton says if you left your car unlocked last night check if anything has been taken as officers believe the spraycan used may have come from an unlocked car which was parked in the car park opposite the commissioners' office.
