Eight Manx Care homes closed temporarily due to Covid
Closing care homes on the Isle of Man because of the uncontrolled outbreak of Covid-19 has been 'incredibly distressing' for residents and their families.
The chief executive of Manx Care has pledged to keep the closures of eight homes in Douglas, Ramsey and Port St Mary under constant review.
Last week it was revealed that they'd been closed to new admissions, visitors and for respite care due to community transmission of the virus.
