It follows 'numerous cancellations' late last week
Cardiology clinics are to be reinstated as planned from next week (w/c 9 October), according to Manx Care.
It comes after 'numerous' appointments were cancelled late last week due to there not being a doctor available to undertake the clinics.
Anyone with a cardiology appointment next week is therefore being asked to attend their slot as planned.
The reinstated sessions, Manx Care adds, will be covered by the existing team of cardiology consultants alongside their usual workload 'to try to address the high demand placed upon the service'.
The Patient Information Centre will contact each patient personally to confirm if they can still attend their appointment.
Manx Care is apologising for the 'inconvenience and concern this may have caused to our patients and their families.'
