We're being warned to ensure vehicles are roadworthy as conditions continue to deteriorate.
In recent days, weather warnings and reports of ice on roads have led to police appeals to drive to the conditions.
Motorists are told to check tyres, brake pads, lights and fluid levels, and if you do encounter ice, to drive slower and with fewer revs.
