Chief Minister says it's time to make government more efficient
The current funding model for health and social care services on the Isle of Man does not align with the amount of money expected from income and tax.
That’s the message from the chief minister.
Alfred Cannan says maintaining the ‘status quo’ of government department budgets and the money needed for the health service would lead to an ‘unacceptable demand’ on reserves.
