Tynwald members back recent testing and isolation review
The Chief Minister says the action taken by his Government in the face of a possible overwhelming increase in omicron numbers was the correct thing to do.
Speaking in Tynwald during an extraordinary session, Alfred Cannan said the danger was that there might be thousands of new cases of the new variant.
Members gave the testing and isolation measures - which came into effect on 22 December - unanimous approval.
He told members there was an urgent need to act.
