Manx economy 'resilient' as UK growth falters
Treasury Minister Alf Cannan has called Philip Hammond's autumn statement is one of continuity.
Yesterday the UK chancellor revealed firm measures to clamp down on offshore jurisdictions offering aggressive tax avoidance schemes.
Mr Cannan says experts have been predicting a pessimistic outlook for the best part of a decade, but reality is very different.
He believes the Island's economy has shown its resilience in austere times.
