Move awaits drug and alcohol strategy review
A motion on the legalisation of cannabis for medicinal use has been pulled from next week's Tynwald order paper.
It's because of a report on the Island's drug and alcohol strategy due out shortly.
East Douglas MHK Clare Bettison - who was set to table the motion - has been asked not to pre-empt the findings of the report.
Ramsey member Dr Alex Allinson says a revised motion is likely at a later date:
"When you're delivering healthcare on an island, your costs are going to be higher"
