Deadline for nominations is next week
If you think you have what it takes to serve on Port St Mary commissioners, you have just over a week to put your name forward.
Rebecca Sinfield was forced to step down in July after it emerged she wasn’t on the electoral roll – sparking the local authority by-election.
Nominations have to be delivered to the Town Hall in Port St Mary by next Thursday, September 24.
If more than one candidate stands, the village will go to the polls on Thursday, October 22.
