Cancellation of PO/Santander contract could cause problems

MHK raises concerns in Keys

Onchan MHK Rob Callister says the cancellation of a contract between Isle of Man Post Office and Santander Bank will put lots of small organisations in a difficult position.

In the House of Keys this week, Mr Callister asked Chairman of the Post Office Julie Edge MHK if she would make a statement on the matter, which resulted in something of a heated exchange.

Mr Callister repeatedly asked for more detail of the contract cancellation, but Ms Edge said as talks were still underway, she could not expand or give specific details:
