Juan McGuinness says the plan is 'flawed'
The Department of Infrastructure is consulting with local authorities about large vehicle parking across the Island.
Ramsey Commissioner Juan McGuinness says the department's plan is 'flawed' and local authorities shouldn't be dividing roads up as 'allowed or not allowed'.
The department is proposing restrictions on vehicles that are over 1.87 meters high or 5.5 meters long; these would be excluded from parking overnight or at weekends in selected areas.
Mr McGuinness says there's no 'magic solution' and vehicles have to park somewhere:
