
Campaigners for a new breast cancer treatment unit for the Island are starting their next phase of fund-raising after reaching a milestone.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group's target to build a new centre offering dedicated facilities at Noble's hospital for the first time, is £1.5 million.
Yesterday the first sod was cut to mark the start of building work after 325,000 was raised from the Manx public and local benefactors.
