Group to present abortion petition to Chief Minister
The Island's pro-choice campaign group has called for 'political courage' amongst Tynwald members as it looks to push forward with abortion law reform.
The Chief Minister will meet representatives of CALM, or Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation, tomorrow (16 Nov) morning outside Government Offices.
Mr Quayle will be presented with the group's petition asking Tynwald to make safe and legal abortions available to women on the Isle of Man.
The document's been signed by 2,795 people, 70% of which are Islanders.
