Crossroads CEO quizzes health heads at government conference
The chief executive of a charity which supports carers had called on government to carry out assessments immediately.
Jackie Betteridge, from Crossroads Care, questioned the health minister and Manx Care’s CEO on the issue at the Isle of Man Government Conference.
She’s described carers as being the 'most misunderstood' workers on the Island.
And she adds the lack of carers' assessments is an issue the charity has been fighting for almost four decades:
