Calls for fair pay for nurses to help with population aims

RCN says Manx Care must do more to retain and attract staff

A nursing union which represents Manx medical staff has raised concerns about government's plan to grow the population.

The Royal College of Nursing says to retain – and attract – nurses Manx Care needs to pay them better.

Earlier this week the union revealed that 55.5 per cent of members balloted about a recent four per cent pay offer were prepared to consider taking strike action.
