MHK wants early diagnosis of condition

Routine screening for diabetes could help to reduce the burden of the condition on health services in the long-term.

That's the view of Onchan MHK Julie Edge.

Mrs Edge will ask Tynwald to back the introduction of more widespread testing next week.

She says the process doesn't have to be onerous.
