Call for investigation into performance management

Capability issues must be addressed

The issue of performance management could be brought to Tynwald next week (21st).

A debate on over-referrals and under preparedness of government workers took place during the June sitting of the court.

Last year, three senior figures in the health department took early retirement following a number of problems at Noble’s Hospital – highlighted most vocally by  South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft and subsequent health service reviews.

Now Mrs Beecroft says she wants  the whole issue of performance management to be investigated.
