MHK Ralph Peake wants better understanding
A call for frequent air quality tests on the Isle of Man.
MHK Ralph Peake says current testing every two years or so simply isn't good enough.
He's to question the Environment Minister Geoffrey Boot on the subject during Tuesday's sitting of Tynwald.
He adds "it's having a joint responsibility" and we have a chance to "take steps to make those changes in our lives, which will actually improve our air quality, and others around us".
It comes after students of all ages in more than 15 countries walked out of school in protest this week - to lobby government to take action on climate change.

Many pupils on the Island also took part, with a group of Laxey school children outside government offices in Dougas.
Mr Peake says we have an important opportunity: (play audio)
