
An organisation that looks after ill people before ambulances arrive need more volunteers.
The Community First Responders - run by St John Ambulance - provide life-saving treatment in the minutes taken for paramedics to travel from the hospital.
The body currently has 49 members who deal with thousands of calls per year, but more are needed.
