Cafe sold to new owners

Fork It opened in December 2023

The owners of a Douglas cafe have announced its closure ahead of the business being sold. 

Fork It, on Victoria Street, will reopen after renovation work. 

Sarah Jones, who opened the business in December 2023, announced the sale saying 'after 2.5 wonderful years, the time has come for us to say goodbye'.

She added: "We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of our customers for your incredible support, loyalty and friendship over the past 2.5 years. 

"It has been an absolute pleasure serving our local community, and we are truly grateful for the memories we’ve shared."

To mark its closure and new ownership, the cafe will be having a 50% off sale on Friday (17 July).
