Power lines brought down after vehicle collision
Overhead power cables, brought down after a vehicle crashed into the Manx Electric Railway line yesterday, have been stolen.
Police say around 200 metres of copper cable was left by the roadside overnight between the Liverpool Arms and Baldrine.
As a result of the materials being stolen, the Manx Electric Railway is unable to operate normal service and has had to cancel a special event.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of the cable, or if it's offered to you for sale, you're asked to contact police on 631212.
