Nominations close today (Monday) ahead of a possible Douglas Council by-election.
There’s a vacancy in Murray’s Ward following Bill Malarkey’s election to the House of Keys in May.
In the event of a contest, the ward will go to the polls on Thursday, August the 13th.
The available place on the council is for a seven month term.
