Claims IOM future is brighter outside EU
A Manx-based businessman and former House of Keys candidate says last week’s Brexit decision was the right one.
Captain Kurt Buchholz, who stood unsuccessfully in last year’s South Douglas by-election, says Britain was right to vote in favour of leaving the European Union.
Captain Buchholz, who also tried to set up a ferry service to compete with the Steam Packet, says the Isle of Man’s future is brighter outside the EU.
And he says attempts by Brussels to impose a European identity on member states was bound to fail:
