Businesses on the Isle of Man are being urged to invest in the sleeping habits of their staff in order to boost productivity.
Local consultancy firm Simply Sleep wants companies to consider bolstering benefit and wellbeing packages for employees with children.
In the UK the annual cost of sleep deprivation to the economy is £40 billion with 200,000 days lost each year due to absence and sub-optimal working.
