A new approach is underway for the next Manx budget to provide a closer connection between government thinking and the thoughts of the business sector.
Members of the Treasury team have been going out to meet the community, to discuss the view from businesses.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says such an approach, especially in these tough times, is vital:
