Bell insists IoM-UK relations still good
The Chief Minister says it's business as usual with the UK after his trip to London yesterday (Tues).
Mr Bell signed an agreement with the United Kingdom on providing information on the beneficial ownership of companies.
It means the Manx Government will establish and maintain a central electronic register which allows information to be given to law enforcement and tax authorities in minutes if so required.
He called the timing of the signing "unfortunate" as work towards it had been ongoing weeks before the recent revelations in the leaked Panama papers.
But he said the Island still had good relations with the UK.
