Brewery will move after 20 years at Bottleneck Car Park
It's been announced Bushy's will no longer run its Beer Tent on Douglas promenade.
A statement has been released on the brewery's Facebook page says it is 'disappointed' to have been informed the company has lost the contract.
The contract was put out to tender by Douglas Council, who own the land - it was announced earlier rival brewers Hooded Ram would be running operations until 2021.
Last month, councillors had hinted that Bushy's would be awarded the contract - calling the tent 'a huge TT attraction'.
Despite being outbid, the firm's Managing Director Martin Brunnschweiler says it'll find an alternative site for next year's event.
It's the latest in a series of controversies involving Bushy's and the TT.
In January, the company was given a legal warning for its use of the trademarked letters 'TT' on its merchandise.
Mr Brunnschweiler says staff had been making plans to source a new site for the tent as soon as it was announced a tender process would be taking place.
