Exotic provenance of Manx ale
A beer, brewed in the Isle of Man but containing ingredients from one of the remotest communities on earth, is to go on sale in a UK pub next month.
Island Brew uses berries that are picked on Tristan Da Cunha, a tiny volcanic island in the south Atlantic with a population of less than 300.
The Manx-made bitter will be on offer at The Elder Tree Inn in the Lincolnshire village of Horsington from 2 December.
