Drivers stage first in series of walkouts planned throughout March
Bus drivers on the Isle of Man are continuing their strike action from today (6 March).
After a few days of regular service following a recent walkout, members of Unite the union are once again heading to the picket lines.
Bus Vannin has confirmed a contingency timetable will be in operation, with MER trams running between Ramsey and Douglas.
There are once again no school services operating.
This latest round of action, which follows a row over pay and contractual issues, is due to last for five days until Tuesday, 10 March.
If no breakthrough is made in negotiations, 15 further strike days are planned this month.
