Bus drivers have lost a long-running dispute with a government department.
A tribunal’s ruled they were not unfairly sacked when the DCCL dismissed drivers from their old contracts last year and subsequently issued them with new ones.
The tribunal heard 63 claims over changes to terms and conditions and has now come down in favour of the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure by two votes to one.
Unite head in the Island, Eric Holmes, says the next step is under consideration.
