Fluent Manx speakers sought
A crash course in the Irish language is in store for the recipients of a scholarship on offer by Culture Vannin.
It's looking to award two young, fluent Manx speakers with the Kaneen Bursary, sending them to Donegal this summer to attend a school run by Oideas Gael.
Funds for the Bursary were given by the late Professor Brian Kaneen, a keen supporter of Manx and lecturer in linguistic at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia
