Gary Clueit says housing remains a big challenge on the Isle of Man
A Legislative Council candidate says the Island's builders are 'too busy' to include energy efficiency ideas in their constructions.
Gary Clueit has told Manx Radio he encountered difficulties trying to find tradespeople to work on his own property.
He's now set up his own business, and is hoping to develop affordable and efficient homes on a brownfield site in Ramsey.
But, he warns there's a way to go for this to become standard practice on the Island:
