Chamber keen for more information on Treasury support
This week's budget update is "a little light in details" according to a body representing Manx businesses.
The Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce is raising concerns about how business support packages are going to be paid for and delivered.
The Chamber says Treasury's decision to continue a number of its coronavirus support schemes is 'welcome news', but that detail about the delivery of these initiatives was lacking in Tuesday's update.
The organisation believes economical and financial considerations such as the scale and cost and these packages need to be addressed as soon as possible.
In a statement, the Chamber says some sectors are likely to require support for a significant time.
It adds it looks forward to receiving more details from government in the coming months.
