Breast cancer in under-30s becoming more common

Charity campaigning to raise awareness of illness in younger patients

Cases of breast cancer in women under the age of 30 are becoming more common, according to a representative of the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

Usually associated with older women, the charity is campaigning for better awareness after a rise in younger patients being diagnosed with the illness too.

Around 100 patients are diagnosed with the illness on the Island each year.
